Just below Dr. RJ’s introduction video is the workbook download.
Click on the highlighted “download”.
You will see a drop-down list of Modules 1 through 6.
Begin with video training module 1.
Dr. RJ recommends that you complete one video training module a week while utilizing the workbook. Each video training module contains several lessons.
Complete all of the lessons within the module before moving on to the next one.
Dr. RJ does find value in you completely these separately.
Meet with Dr. RJ each week during the live Sunday parenting seminar. Dr. RJ’s Calendar is located in your members portal.
The parent seminar with Dr. RJ is held on Sunday @ 4:15 PM EST, 3:15 PM CST, 2:15 PM MTN, and 1:15 PM PST.
Dr. RJ’s parent seminar calendar is located within the parent member portal right under the modules. Parents must register to attend these. Click on the orange “Parenting Seminar Calendar” button.
Click on the date you are available to attend.
You will then be prompted to complete the registration.
You will then receive an email confirmation that will contain the Zoom link you will need to attend.
You will need to register for each Sunday you plan to attend. To make it easier, you can schedule multiple Sundays at once by clicking the blue “Schedule Another Event“ button.
Each Wednesday, parents will receive a courtesy reminder to register.
You do not have to do anything before the Sunday live class. Sunday’s live parenting seminar content is independent of the weekly video training; and is always fresh, relevant, and non-scripted.
Each seminar and class will be recorded and made available to you in your member’s portal. Dr. RJ encourages you to watch replays of any missed classes.
They are located within your parent member portal and will be uploaded within 24 to 48 hours from the completion of the seminar. The most recent one will be under “View Prior Week’s Parenting Seminar.”
Located directly underneath that, is the top ten replays. They are labeled by topic covered by Dr. RJ.
These are located at the bottom of the home page in the “Resources” tab.
Once the resources page loads, navigate towards the bottom to “Weekly Parenting Seminar Replays.”
Click on the drop arrow and the entire library of Dr. RJ’s parenting seminars will pull up. They are dated and labeled by the topic covered by Dr. RJ.
Every two weeks, please send us a progress report. Your progress reports are critical for us to ensure success in this program.
Please complete this progress report form using this link: https://drrjjackson.com/progress-report/
Once completed, then push submit.
Each Sunday Dr. RJ gives parents the opportunity for him to call on them and coach them right on the spot. Dr. RJ recommends that you volunteer for coaching at one of the Sunday sessions. When you are in Zoom, click the three dots at the top right of your screen, and choose “raise hand.” This will notify Dr. RJ that you would like him to call on you so that he can coach you through your current situation.
If you have a sensitive subject and would like to remain anonymous that is fine. Change your name in Zoom before the parent seminar begins. Then once you are admitted into the seminar, enter your questions into the chat feature and raise your Zoom hand. I would add that you prefer to stay anonymous so that Dr. RJ is aware when he reads it. You are welcome to turn your camera off if you would like as well.
Both of these are located below module 6, under Additional Training.
Click on the Additional Training drop-down arrow.
You may send an email with this communication to support and they will ensure that the team coach will review it prior to your child’s session.
Regarding feedback, we do not send progress reports to parents. Our desire is that you witness changes in your child without us hinting at them, if that makes sense.
However, we rely on your progress reports since we make coaching decisions based on the reports.
Log into your parent member portal. On the home page, scroll down towards the bottom and you will see the resources tab. Click on that tab. Once the resources page is up, scroll down to the small group session link to schedule your child.
You have access to weekday group sessions as part of the program!
- Your tween, teen, and young adult are not required to participate in these sessions, these are 100% optional.
- The small group sessions are hosted by Dr. RJ’s Certified Life Coaches.
- These sessions are designed to help your tween, teen, and young adult stay on track with their goals and are offered during the weekdays.
That depends, if your child is openly willing to participate in the program then yes. If you feel that your child will not want to participate, please do not force them to begin. Dr. RJ’s recommendation is for the parent to begin first. Attend Dr. RJ’s weekly live Sunday parenting seminars. These are so important for you to attend as they will provide you with the tips and techniques that will help support your child’s transformation at home.
Important: Schedule “My Child is Ready to begin Orientation”
This will walk you through every step you will need for your child to begin.
Parent involvement is extremely important and participation with the parent portion is encouraged before trying these methods. Dr. RJ has found the secret to success in coaching students is also coaching the parent, so you are growing together.
I am including below some information and scripting to assist you with introducing the program:
Be mindful not to describe this program as a solution to their “problems.”
You need to introduce the program to your son with excitement. Then try to connect this program to their passion or one of their interests.
You may say, ” I have signed you up for this amazing program that many of the top teenagers around the country are joining and it will help you get to the next level. This program will help with performance in …..”
“I want to be the best parent that I can be so I signed us up for this program. Now the program is mainly about me. I want to grow as a parent. So, the way that it works is that I start my portion first. I do my program, I make changes, and then you’ll start yours. Now my question for you is this, what is something that you would like to see change in me as your parent?”
This is impactful in so many ways.
Helping them to understand that this is more about you as a parent than about them so they’re not thinking that something is wrong with them.
You are sharing with them that you want to be the best parent possible.
You are getting their feedback. What would you like to see change in me?
They may tell you, okay Mom, you yell a lot. I would like to see you not yell as much. That’s it, your job parent is to then go make that happen.
Also, we recommend attendance in Dr. RJ’s parenting seminars weekly.

When your child is ready to begin, present them with this report card to complete. This report card is for your child to grade you, the parent.
The report card form needs to be presented in a way where your child is informed that you are trying to work on yourself. You “need their help” to learn more about your areas of improvement. From how your child grades you. Then you pick what you want to focus on. Set a goal for yourself and hold yourself accountable for it.
The report card is located on the homepage within your parent member portal.
Also, you can find it within the resources portion of your parent member portal.
